Outreach vs Salesloft vs HubSpot Sales Hub: Which Sales Engagement Platform Should You Pick in 2027?
Pick HubSpot Sales Hub if your team is small or mid-sized, already runs on HubSpot, and wants prices you can read before you talk to anyone. Pick Outreach if you are a larger sales organization that wants an AI-agent-driven execution platform and is fine negotiating a custom quote. Pick Salesloft if you want its engagement tools together with Clari forecasting under one company, and accept that you will also go through a sales call to get a price.
Only HubSpot publishes prices: its Professional tier shows $90 and $100 per seat per month and Enterprise starts at $150 per seat per month, plus one-time onboarding fees. Outreach says its pricing is custom, and Salesloft's pricing page shows no prices at all. This is a buyer's guide built from the vendors' own pages, not a hands-on test, and it names no winner on features because no source here measures that.
Which platform fits which team
- Small team or first sales hires, already on HubSpot CRM: Sales Hub. It has a free tier for up to 2 users and paid tiers with published per-seat prices, so you can budget before a demo.
- Mid-sized team that wants sequences and automation without a long procurement: Sales Hub Professional, which lists 5,000 sequences per account.
- Large team where AI agents and forecasting sit next to engagement: Outreach, whose plans bundle agents, credits and forecasting, or Salesloft, now part of the same company as Clari forecasting.
- Team that needs a firm price before it commits: Sales Hub, because neither Outreach nor Salesloft publishes one.
What each vendor publishes on price
- HubSpot Sales Hub, Free$0 per month, free for up to 2 users
- HubSpot Sales Hub, Starter$7 and $20 per month per seat are both shown, with monthly and annual options
- HubSpot Sales Hub, Professional$90 and $100 per month per seat are both shown; $1,500 one-time onboarding
- HubSpot Sales Hub, EnterpriseStarts at $150 per month per seat; $3,500 one-time onboarding
- OutreachCustom pricing; no dollar amounts published
- SalesloftNo prices published; the page routes to Talk to Sales
HubSpot's pricing page shows two per-seat figures for Starter and Professional next to monthly and annual commitment options, and the page text does not clearly say which figure belongs to which billing choice, so confirm at checkout. It also states that onboarding fees are not included in the per-seat prices, that LinkedIn sequence actions need a Sales Navigator subscription on Professional and Enterprise, and that view-only seats are free.
Outreach's pricing page says to "reach out to our team for custom pricing based on your team's needs," and that cost depends on team size, usage, the number of AI workflows activated and the capabilities required. It also says "Per user pricing. No platform fees. Support included." Salesloft's pricing page publishes no prices or packages. Any per-seat figure for Outreach or Salesloft on third-party sites is not a published price, so this page gives none.
HubSpot Sales Hub: what the tiers include
On the HubSpot pricing page, Professional lists up to 500 email sends per user per day and up to 300 fully customizable workflows. Enterprise lists up to 1,000 email sends per user per day, sequences that can be triggered by workflows, and up to 1,000 workflows. Both list 5,000 sequences per account.
Included HubSpot Credits are 500 on Starter, 3,000 on Professional and 5,000 on Enterprise, and extra credits cost $0.010 each. The practical trade-off: the tools are easy to price, but onboarding adds $1,500 or $3,500 one time on the two higher tiers.
Outreach: plans built around AI credits
Outreach's pricing page lists four plans that differ mainly by AI credits and limits:
- Amplify Essentials: 10,000 AI credits, with conversation intelligence, coaching, engagement, account planning and deal and pipeline management.
- Amplify Core: 25,000 AI credits, 250,000 API calls, 5 custom objects and 500 MB of knowledge, with Omni, Research, Revenue and Personalization agents.
- Amplify Plus: 50,000 AI credits, 500,000 API calls, 10 custom objects and 750 MB of knowledge; adds the Deal Agent, Meeting Prep Agent, live coaching and reporting.
- Amplify Pro: 100,000 AI credits, 1,000,000 API calls, 20 custom objects and 1,500 MB of knowledge; adds AI forecast projection, scenario planning and territory management, with ongoing managed services.
Additional credit packs can be bought if you exceed your allotment. Outreach also announced Omni, a conversational agent, and Agent Studio for building custom agents in a Business Wire release dated April 27, 2026, and its old outreach.io address now redirects to outreach.ai.
Salesloft and the Clari merger
Ownership is the fact most worth getting right. Salesloft did not merge with Outreach. Clari and Salesloft announced a definitive merger agreement on August 7, 2025 (Salesloft newsroom), and on December 3, 2025 they published that they had completed it, naming Steve Cox as CEO of the combined organization (Salesloft newsroom).
The August release said the combined company would serve over 5,000 organizations and roughly $10 trillion in annual revenue under management. The December release says "Salesloft powers the top of the funnel with new AI capabilities" and "Clari extends that momentum through conversion and close." It does not say whether the products will stay unchanged, so ask Salesloft about packaging and roadmap before you buy.

- CRM fit: Check that the integration with your CRM syncs the objects and fields you use.
- Contract: Term length, renewal uplift and cancellation rights, in writing.
